On January 24th, 2017 Olaf Stöwer, Head of Operations at faizod GmbH, gave a talk at the Energy Efficient Aviation Solutions (EEAS) Conference in Dresden. Industry giants from aviation and microelectronics gathered at the conference to discuss innovative developments in aviation technology.
Stöwer represented faizod as a member of Silicon Saxony e.V., a business association of 320 companies in micro and nano technology with a combined revenue of over 4.5 billion Euros per year.
This year’s conference focused on how energy efficiency and aircraft construction can be improved through the integration of new technology, and specifically how small and mid-sized companies can profit from such technologies.
Stöwer brought insights on how Blockchain technology can be applied in aviation production processes, which compelled a subsequent discussion regarding the use Blockchain in quality management and fraud identification in the aviation context.
